Battle Creek Dahlia is a cuddly bug that loves to play

Dahlia would like to have a feline friend in her new forever home.

Dahlia is an incredibly sweet cat. Humane Society of South Central Michigan (HSSCM) staff say she came from a home that had reached out for help because they had too many cats.

Once Dahlia was picked up by the shelter, they realized she was expecting a litter of kittens. HSSCM staff say Dahlia was a wonderful and caring mother to her babies. The kittens are all adults and Dahlia has been neutered. Now all she needs is her forever family.

Because Dahlia comes from a household that had lots of cats and spent the rest of her time with all of the HSSCM cats, she would prefer to go to a household with another cat. She enjoys socializing and playing with other felines.

If you want to add it to your family and you don’t have a cat or kitten, HSSCM offers special discounted rates when you adopt two of its available felines. Dahlia is a bit small and would prefer a home with children who have previous experience with cats and would respect her space.
