🎅Sensitive Santa Claus sponsored by Therapy Connections

The Fairfield Commons Mall will be hosting a special meet and greet with Santa for children with sensory sensitivities and special needs on December 5. The experience will be quieter and more subdued in order to meet the needs of children with special needs and sensory sensitivities. . In fact, even shopping mall traffic will be reduced in Santa Claus Village for the duration of the event to reduce sensory stimuli.

🎅 Carriage parade and Christmas festival in Lebanon

Across the Midwest, the Lebanon Horse-drawn Carriage Parade and Christmas Festival is the only horse-drawn carriage parade of its size. Between the horse-drawn carriage parades, entertainment will include live performances, Christmas carols, train rides on Lebanon’s North Pole Express Mason Monroe Railroad, and photos with Santa from 10:30 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. at 18 o’clock.

Ohio Renaissance Festival Christmas Village: Season of Lights

Over four weekends in November and December, the Ohio Renaissance Festival will host a Christmas Village. This celebration of the holiday season will include visits with Woodland Santa Claus and Krampus, a Christmas market with many potential gift ideas, from jewelry to classic wooden toys, themed light areas, a colorful Gum Drop alley, costumed singers, cheerful food and drink menu, and live entertainment.

Following the popular Fairborn Hometown Holiday Parade, the Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Central Ave. in downtown Fairborn on a date yet to be announced. Mayor Michelle Collins will light up the Miamisburg Christmas tree at Riverfront Park. 🎅Vandalia Tree Enlightenment Ceremony

The Town of Vandalia will hold its annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Vandalia Recreation Center. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at the Vandalia Sports Complex at 6 p.m. Guests will also enjoy refreshments, music and sightseeing with Santa Claus.

Light up oak wood

Starting at 6 p.m., lit lights will line the boulevards of Far Hills Avenue, Shafor Boulevard and other important Oakwood buildings. At 6.30 p.m., the city’s Christmas tree lighting will take place at Shafor Park, with live entertainment, refreshments, tours with Santa Claus and horse-drawn carriage rides.

Woodland lights

Woodland Lights is a beloved holiday light display featuring a half-mile-long paved path of holiday lights and displays. This year’s event will feature train rides, but not amusement park rides which have been featured annually through 2019. Horse-drawn carriage rides and Santa Claus will be part of this year’s event, but not the white-tailed deer. Special nights include Pet Night on December 3 and 21, giving visitors the option to bring their friendly puppies on a leash to walk around the park and have their photo taken with Santa.

A Christmas Carillon

During the holiday season, Carillon Historical Park turns into a winter wonderland with the dazzling The 200-foot-tall Carillon Tree of Light illuminates the sky every night and the remaining acres of land are illuminated with Christmas lights. Visitors will also be able to visit Santa until December 23, tour acres of magical lights, go holiday shopping and treat themselves to holiday-inspired treats.
